Youth Basketball (Ages 3-8 yrs)
A precompetitive, instructional program to teach boys and girls the basic skills and rules of basketball.

Youth Soccer (Ages 3-8 yrs)
An exciting opportunity to be a part of an instructional program for girls and boys to learn the basic skills and rules of indoor soccer.

Youth Flag Football (Ages 9-15 yrs)
A sports program designed to demonstrate and incorporate the skills, tactics and rules of flag football with emphasis on related health benefits, competitiveness and sportsmanship.

Gymnastics (Ages 4-12 yrs)
Designed for beginners 4 to 7 years of age and intermediates 8 to 12 years of age. This class will utilize a matted floor and the balance beam to teach the facets of gymnastics including strength, flexibility, balance, and tumbling. Registration can be completed at the Member Service Center at the YMCA.

Tae Kwon Do (Ages 6 yrs & older)
Henry Hyde, a kukkiwon certified Fifth Dan Black belt, will instruct participants through this extremely effective form of karate. Classes emphasize self-defense, kicking and striking techniques, blocking, discipline, and YMCA values. Youth Classes: Ages 6 -12 yrs. Adult Classes: Ages 12+ yrs. Register at the Member Service Center.

Self-Defense Course
Take advantage of a great opportunity to learn valuable self defense skills that can be used in real life situations. Taught by Henry Hyde, our Fifth Dan black belt Tae Kwon Do Instructor, you’ll be exposed to an array of situations and appropriate actions to effectively defend yourself. This course if offered to individuals ages 12 years and older. Take it alone or with a friend or a parent.

Home School P.E.
Here's your opportunity to bring your group, school, church, or organization to the Jim & Heather Gills YMCA to have full use of the gymnasium. We will design a program for you or you can design your own. Register at the Member Service Center.


Financial Assistance

The YMCA offers partial subsidies for those in need. We will turn no one away for the inability to pay, where need is demonstrated. See the Member Service Center to apply for Scholarship Assistance.
