The YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is committed to providing programs and services that meet the needs of the community in which it serves. Each facility is designed to uniquely fit the community where it is located, so you won’t see two YMCA’s that are exactly the same. The YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg has two community outreach centers currently serving St. Petersburg; the Harbordale YMCA and Childs Park YMCA. Each of these facilities offers a variety of programs and services for all ages. Our outreach activities have also grown through new collaborations and more than 15,000 community members are receiving beneficial programs outside of the traditional YMCA facility in locations like churches, recreation centers, family centers, and businesses. At the YMCA, we are committed to turning no one away for the inability to pay, where need is demonstrated and available funding exists. For this reason, many of the services we offer are free or at a very affordable rate. It is the mission of the YMCA to serve all people and all communities.
