Draw like an Artist (Ages 5-15 yrs)

Located at Jim & Heather Gills YMCA

Learn and develop your skills to add shading to your drawings, draw cartoons and animations, create water color pencil art, and even learn to face paint. Create your own works of art and amaze your family and friends.
 

St. Petersburg Prodigy Program

This cultural arts program is more than just an art class. Program utilizes different art mediums and techniques to engage youth in powerful creative expression that strengthens problem solving skills among participants. Offered in 8-week sessions and include theatre, video production, photography, vocals & lyrics, creative writing, dance, and visual arts.

 

Program is offered through a partnership with the University Area Development Center and the University of South Florida utilizing the PRODIGY Model.

Visual Arts (Ages 12-17 yrs)

Located at Harbordale YMCA

A wonderful hands-on class. A variety of techniques will be taught including watercolors, paper-mache, clay, and glass among many others. Anyone who loves all types of art will really enjoy this class.

This is a hands on learning program. Learn basic music techniques for guitar, drums, keyboard and bass.
